Entering its third year, GameNight Vegas - Presented by Valvoline is a motorsports gaming party featuring a variety of on stage race programming, as well as games that celebrate a shared love for motorsports. GameNight Vegas will showcase vintage racing arcade cabinets, contemporary console racing games, and a feature presentation of top tier competitive sim racing on the latest equipment.
The 2021 GameNight Vegas is open to the public, but an RSVP is required (ticketing page coming soon). RSVP does not guarantee entry. This is a vaccine required event. ALL attendees must show proof of COVID-19 Vaccination to enter.
GRIDLIFE Sim City Challenge - Presented by Valvoline
The feature race of the evening will be the finals of the iRacing GRIDLIFE Sim City Challenge presented by Valvoline. The Sim City Challenge is a four round iRacing series where 16 finalists are chosen to compete remotely against eight IRL challengers at the GRIDLIFE GameNight Vegas party - broadcasted live November, 4th at 10pm PST.
The first race of the Sim City Challenge will kick off October, 5th at 8pm CST at Lime Rock Park in Mazda MX5's, so start practicing! Each round will follow the GLTC points structure, and your top two finishes in the series count towards the Finals at GameNight Vegas.

The racing season for GRIDLIFE Touring Cup (GLTC) concludes this weekend, October 9-10, with a season finale at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. With a six-way battle for the championship lead solidified with Jeremy Swenson’s weekend victory at GingerMan Raceway last month, the series heads to the 4.048 mile, 14-turn road course in Wisconsin for the final four races of the year.
The field will be 50 cars strong, the most ever to start a Touring Cup race at Road America. The grid features staples such as Eric Kutil in his #82 HybridRacing EG Civic Si, Jeremy Swenson in the #30 Chevrolet Corvette, Tom O’Gorman in the #94 ASM S2000, and Eric Jensen in his LS-swapped Scion FR-S. Drivers making a return to the series after time away include Woody Heimann, who will run at Road America after campaigning much of the year in the Global MX-5 Championship with IMSA. Aaron Leichty, last year’s championship runner up makes a return to Touring Cup in his #19 Porsche Cayman. Savannah Little returns to the Touring Cup series in a Nissan 350z. She has previously run with a SPEC MX-5 Challenge car at GRIDLIFE’s Alpine Horizon Festival last year.
Newcomers to GRIDLIFE Touring Cup include Austin Cobb, in a turbocharged Mazda Miata, and Micaiah Hackbarth, who will enter his first GLTC round in a 2012 Porsche Cayman. Hackbarth has experience in Time Attack with an Audi TTRS, but has never competed in GLTC, and joins the Andy Smedegard Motorsports team in wheel-to-wheel racing in the last round of 2021.
The point structure in GRIDLIFE Touring Cup allows competitors to drop their lowest 14 race results of the 35 races run this season, including rounds where drivers did not make starts. With all of the drop races accounted for, Eric Kutil leads Jeremy Swenson by 9 points, with Tom O’Gorman, Aaron Leichty, Luke McGrew, and Andy Smedegard all within striking distance should Kutil or Swenson encounter trouble.
Championship leader Eric Kutil’s journey to the top of the standings has not come easy this season; after miscalculations at NOLA Motorsports Park caused his disqualification, and some poor results at Circuit of the Americas, Kutil had work to do to make up points on Luke McGrew and Aaron Leichty.
Overheating issues plagued Kutil’s 1992 Honda Civic Si, and a rainy slide into a gravel trap at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course lost him crucial points.
At the season’s most recent round at GingerMan Raceway, Kutil’s brakes failed, sending the car off course at over 100 miles per hour.
A combination of skill, luck, and GingerMan Raceway’s open fields of runoff allowed Kutil’s car to drive away from the incident and compete the next day, saving his weekend and the season.
Despite a number of setbacks, Kutil managed to win six times and finish in the top five 21 times, including 12 race podiums, placing him in the championship lead by nine points over Jeremy Swenson.
Jeremy Swenson’s own expectations at the beginning of his rookie season were set with the intention of being competitive and a true force in the highly competitive GLTC grid.
With a wildly different formula (a large displacement V8 engine in a Chevrolet Corvette chassis) compared to the numerous lightweight Honda and Mazda based cars in the series, Swenson set out to demonstrate the viability of big-bore cars.
His season debut at Circuit of the Americas proved promising, earning points in all four races. Swenson celebrated his first win at NCM Motorsports Park, before racking up seven other victories, with a win at every single round except for Mid-Ohio.
With a straight-line speed advantage over his competitors, Road America is the perfect place for Swenson to make up ground on Kutil; he only needs to gain nine points on the championship leader to win the season championship.
Contender Tom O’Gorman will enter the final round of the season without the characteristic cyan blue livery, after O’Gorman’s Honda S2000 was damaged in an accident while testing last week. He’ll be running the last four races of the season in teammate Zac Lovoy’s #42 Honda S2000, who gave up the opportunity to race to allow O’Gorman to pursue the championship.
O’Gorman’s season was supposed to start at NOLA Motorsports Park, but a blown engine proved to be a multi-month setback. O’Gorman aligned with Andy Smedegard Motorsports (ASM) and swapped in a K24 engine previously installed in the Gears & Gasoline EK Honda Civic.
The first round back for the Pirelli World Challenge champion was NCM Motorsports Park, where he claimed his first Touring Cup win in the final race of the weekend. Three more wins followed at GingerMan Raceway in June, and O’Gorman was on track to win at Autobahn Country Club before his motor failed while he led in the first race. After a heroic effort from the ASM team, O’Gorman’s car returned to race the rest of the weekend, and the rest of the season. With hiccups along the way with component reliability problems, O’Gorman managed to win six times, and claw his way to third in the points.
The final rounds of the season will be broadcast live on GRIDLIFE’s YouTube channel, with commentary from Kyle Heyer and special guest Greg Creamer, whose announcing career spans decades calling series like SRO Motorsports America, Ferrari Challenge, IMSA, and Formula One.
Eight Competitors at the recent GRIDLIFE GameNight Vegas shred virtual tires in GRIDLIFE’s Simulators.
GRIDLIFE heads to Indianapolis for the 2021 PRI Show December 9 -11 to produce the GRIDLIFE iRacer Experience in booth 853 on the show floor. The GRIDLIFE iRacer Experience is a new trade show activation concept for the motorsports event producer. The 20x30 island booth will feature six networked competition racing simulators running the latest iRacing build, complete with live announcing and production.
GRIDLIFE’s goal of motorsports inclusion extends beyond physical events into sim racing, which allows an even lower barrier to entry for the next generation of drivers and fans. As we saw at our GRIDLIFE GameNight competition in Las Vegas, new talent can be sourced anywhere with iRacing. Participants can discover a community they didn’t know existed - and they can enjoy the same competition and comradery experienced at GRIDLIFE events in a digital medium.

Over the course of the PRI show GRIDLIFE will host five races, two daily, with one final race on the last day. Leading up to these races, the sim rigs will be configured in qualifying mode, to select the fastest drivers in attendance on the show floor in order to compete in the races later that day. GRIDLIFE partner, iRacing, generously provided free three-month subscriptions to the game to give out as prizing.

GRIDLIFE hosted the “State of the Grid” press conference on Friday of the 2021 PRI Show where they revealed their 2022 Competition Calendar, and announced their plans for a new festival expansion to the Northeast called “Circuit Legends” to be hosted at Lime Rock Park, scheduled for August 19-20 at the celebrated circuit in Connecticut.
Circuit Legends is a new festival concept for GRIDLIFE, who are known for their Music and Motorsports Festivals with late night concerts. The Circuit Legends concept will be a unique festival experience, in that it won’t feature musical acts, but instead celebrates motorsports culture of the Mid 80s through Mid 00s by featuring vehicles that represent “The Golden Age of touring car racing”. The goal being to resurrect all the vehicular heroes from around the world and set them loose in the hills of Lime Rock in a celebration of touring car racing.
We see the Circuit Legends concept as ‘the concourse for us’. It’s a car culture and motorsports showcase designed for the younger generation that was brought up on Speedvision, BTCC, DTM, JTCC, etc. Rather than musical talent we are going to look to the automotive heroes as our headliners in hopes of bringing a legendary group of 80s-90s-00s racing vehicles together for this inaugural event.

GRIDLIFE joins Racing Pride in their North American expansion to promote LGBTQ+ inclusion in motorsport.

Today Racing Pride has announced a major expansion of its world-leading movement to positively promote LGBTQ+ inclusion through motorsport with the addition of a series of exciting new ambassadors and partners across North American motorsport.
Racing Pride initially launched in June 2019 with a group of UK-based ambassadors and partners to create visible role-models and support for the LGBTQ+ community within the sport, as well as to offer education around allyship. Racing Pride has worked with, and continues to work with, organisations and individuals across motorsport from grass roots to elite professional level.
The movement has expanded rapidly to encompass a strong cohort of European ambassadors and in June 2021 publicly partnered with Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One Team. Since then Racing Pride has worked extensively with this team and others in Formula One, providing workshops, guidance, and resources around LGBTQ+ inclusion, and the 2021 Formula One season saw high impact displays of solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community at multiple Grand Prix events.
The new North American Racing Pride partners announced today are: You Can Play, Athlete Ally, GRIDLIFE, FCP Euro, and Out Motorsports.
Today’s announcement also includes five new North American driver ambassadors for the movement: NASCAR / ARCA Menards drivers Devon Rouse and Zach Herrin; New York based drag racer Travis Shumake; Canadian pro drift racer and stunt driver Zandara Kennedy; and 2 x Pirelli World Challenge Champion Tom O’Gorman.
They will be joined by two additional North American Industry Ambassadors: Ryan Hines, Senior Public Relations Manager at NASCAR team David Gilliland Racing, and Jameson Jones who is an experienced flag marshal for club and pro events across North America as well as internationally.

Racing Pride will help Athlete Ally to engage with these students in new ways, speaking directly to those with interests in motorsport and automotive technology.

Following the uncertainty around the 2020 and 2021 festivals, the GRIDLIFE Festival at Gingerman Raceway (June 3-5) is coming back to its original date with a stacked EDM lineup! Fans who attend the festival of speed and sound will enjoy two nights of musical performances across EDM subgenres, with big acts like Kaskade and Kavinsky headlining Friday and Saturday nights.
The festival will also mark the first live performance in eight years for the French DJ, Kavinsky. Making this even more special, the GRIDLIFE Midwest Festival will be the artist’s first performance following the release of his latest album, “Renegade”, scheduled to drop 3/25.

Record Reset Street Tire Classes - $250 For all rounds this year, overall records set in Street, Street Mod, and Street GT will be eligible for the record bounty. Record Reset winners must complete 100% of their total sessions for the weekend on the Falken RT660 to be eligible for the record reset prize.
Podium Prizing For Falken Club TR, Sundae Cup & GLTC, each round will feature podium prizing for drivers in position 1, 2, or 3 throughout the weekend. Additionally there is mid-pack bonus prizing that will be distributed using a weighted random selection at each round. To be eligible for podium prizing drivers must complete 100% of their total sessions for the weekend on the Falken RT660. Classes must have 4 registered competitors total for that weekend for the Podium Prize to be active.

85 cars took the field at NCM at this weekend’s TrackBattle Time Attack event. Overnight storms didn’t affect the condition of the track as driver found a rapidly drying circuit on the morning of day 2. It wasn’t long before records started falling. 41 drivers took the green flag in GLTC at #GRIDLIFE Bunny Bash at NCM Motorsports park. With a highly competitive roster of drivers, battles at every spot in the field were intense. An 11 car invert for the start of race 4 created a tough battle for all of the podium contenders. It was Tom O’Gorman who stood on the top of the podium with 86 points for the weekend, Andy Smedegard in 2nd with 82 points, and Jeremy Swenson in 3rd with 76 points. Congratulations to all the racers on an incredible weekend of wheel to wheel racing.
Hyundai has been named “Official Partner of GRIDLIFE Midwest Festival 2022”, and the car manufacturer is bringing out their factory race team, Bryan Herta Autosport, to provide free hot laps to spectators all weekend.
Hyundai's factory IMSA team, Bryan Herta Autosport, will be in the pro paddock all weekend to hang out with fans and give hot lap rides! Fans will be able to sign up for free rides in the Hyundai Elantra N, and may also experience the thrill of the Hyundai Elantra N TCR at speed around GingerMan Raceway. The 350 horsepower Elantra N TCR cars are the same ones the team uses in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge Series, fitted with a passenger seat for the GRIDLIFE Midwest Festival.
Bryan Herta Autosport team drivers, Mark Wilkins, Taylor Hagler and Harry Gottsacker will be piloting the hot lap thrills to fans. The three drivers along with BHA driver and Michigan resident, Michael Johnson, will also be onsite to sign autographs, so be sure to stop by the Hyundai booth in the pro paddock.

With the bar for records set so high over the last few years, drivers have had to pull out all the stops to improve overall times by fractions of a second. 54 competitors raced in the #GRIDLIFE Touring Cup at Midwest Festival in 2022. Drivers battled tough competition on track, and reliability challenges over a weekend filled with racing. By race 4, a multi-way battle emerged between Jeremy Swenson, Robert Thorne, and Paul Curley. Despite Curley taking the win in Race 4, Thorne and Swenson made up enough positions to secure 1st and 2nd, respectively. This is Robert’s rookie GLTC season, and his first weekend win of the year. Congratulations to all of the drivers that took part in a fantastic weekend of club racing at Gingerman Raceway.
After a very short break, 34 drivers took took the green flag over an all too typical hot weekend at Autobahn Country Club. Throughout the year, we’ve seen the battle for the top step on the podium focused on S2000 vs Corvette. Autobahn’s unique layout favored the nimble S2000 chassis, with Tom O’Gorman, and Andy Smedegard in 1st and 2nd overall. Perennial contender Jeremy Swenson and his Corvette took 3rd overall in this very competitive field.
